Reviewing your Application and Prescreening
Once you submit your information, it is reviewed within two weeks. Due to the substantial amount of applications we receive, we are unable to respond to everyone personally. If you are a shortlisted candidate, you will receive a phone call for a Telephone Prescreen Interview. At the end of the call, you will be given a timeline in which you will receive an update.

Interviewing
If you’re chosen as one of the best qualified candidates after the Telephone Prescreen Interview, we will contact you again in order to schedule further interviews.

Job Offer
Upon completion of the interviewing process and if you are chosen for the role, specifics such as starting salary will be discussed in further detail. From there an offer will be made and if accepted, a job offer letter will be sent to you.

Are you looking to exercise your IT skills, knowledge, and background as part of an exciting team?  Purdys Chocolatier is looking for a Help Desk Analyst to join our IT team at our Vancouver Head Office! 

The Help Desk Analyst’s main goal is to provide support to internal clients in the areas of problem tracking, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of technical issues. This role also requires some POS related knowledge such as install, upgrade and support.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Technical Support Duties
• Providing technical phone support to end-users such as shop staff and office staff
• Following up and keep end-users informed on status of Service Requests.
• Installing, and configuring computer hardware and workstations.
• Building and maintaining images for desktop, laptops and POS terminals and document process.
• Performing preventative maintenance of computer hardware systems and software.
• Providing software help desk support as needed and occasional off-hour support according to off-hour support policy.
Operational Duties
• Assist with keeping a record of IT assets and keeping track of IT hardware
• Assist Network and Systems personnel in upgrading and testing of desktop operating systems including application software upgrades by performing duties such as testing images, installing software and documenting results.
• Contribute in maintaining documentation for instructions, process and procedures.
• Assist with Backup tape rotation logs and functions.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience and relevant education.
• Previous POS experience – hardware and software is preferred but not necessary
• Experience with basic scripting.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong initiative and problem solving ability.
• Experience supporting Windows environment.

f you are extremely organized, have a great eye for detail, love customer service, and are looking to join an exciting team environment – Purdys Chocolatier has the opportunity for you!

We are looking for Contract Web Sales Customer Service Representatives to join our Web Sales Team at our Head Office in Vancouver, BC. 

Purdys is most famous for our chocolate shops - in addition to that, we are proud to have our other sales channels such as our Web Sales department.  This department runs much like a traditional Purdys shop; however, they are located at our Head Office/Warehouse and all of their customers are shopping via the telephone or online.  These customers can be shopping from Canada, the US, or even Internationally. The Web Sales team handles everything from providing the customer service, packing the product, and shipping the package out directly.

This is a great opportunity for part time work in October-November (24 hours/week) and full time work mid-November and December (additional hours are added as it gets busier and closer to Christmas).  It is a Seasonal position, with the contract going from now to Christmas (dependent on business needs).

As a Web Sales Customer Service Representative, duties include but are not limited to:
• Assisting customers with their mail orders, tracking their orders, and ensuring that customer satisfaction is always at 100%
• Taking new phone orders and data entry work
• Tracking packages
• Consistently meeting daily production targets
• Ensuring accurate information is entered into the system
• Performing other duties as assigned

All applicants MUST have:
• Availability from Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm (business hours)
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
• Superb understanding of Quality Customer Service
• Previous Call Centre Experience
• Great attention to detail and basic Mathematic skills
• Excellent Microsoft Office and Excel skills
• Purdy’s product knowledge is an asset
