Chocolate Rum Balls


125g cream cheese (softened)
1 cup ground almonds
1 cup shifted icing sugar
1 tsp instant coffee
1/4 cup dark rum
1.5 bars Purdy’s Classic Dark Chocolate Bars (melted)

Blend cream cheese, ground almonds, icing sugar, powdered coffee and rum. 
Mix well.  
Add melted chocolate.  
Chill mixture if too soft to handle. 
Roll mixture into 1-inch balls.
Roll each balls in coatings of your choice:

Suggested coatings:
chocolate shavings
sliced almonds
icing sugar
toasted coconut

Makes about 3 dozen.
