Purdy's is proud to be a member of World Cocoa Foundation (WCF), an organization that supports cocoa farmers and their families worldwide. Purdy's Chocolates is also pleased to partner with Winrock International, a non-profit organization that works with people around the world to increase economic opportunity, sustain natural resources, and protect the environment.
Purdy's is providing financial support for vocational training, youth summer camps, scholarships, and micro loans, as well as technical training for cocoa farmers and their families in Côte d'Ivoire, Africa. Here in Canada, Purdy's is also an active member of Confectionery Manufacturers Association of Canada (CMAC), an association involved with numerous aspects of the Canadian confectionery business, including the ethical issues of cocoa farming in cocoa growing communities worldwide.
