Picked by our chocolatiers to complement our chocolate-covered Ginger, Petit Chocolat or Gingerbread, this is an antique 1882 cocktail that’s the “ancestor” of the Martini.
Yield - 1 Serving
- 1 oz gin
- 1 oz sweet vermouth
- 1 oz Green Chartreuse
- 1 lemon
- Combine everything together and stir with ice until completely chilled.
- Strain into chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish with a cherry.
- Cut lemon into slices and express one slice (zest it, then twist it over the cocktail to squeeze out lemon oil).
- Use expressed slice as garnish or discard.
