Quinoa with Hemp Heart Granola

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp Purdys Ginger Syrup (if available) or Purdys Maple Syrup
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1/4 cup pepita (pumpkin) seeds
  • 1/4 cup dried cranberries
  • 1 Quinoa with Hemp Heart Bar, chopped


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine brown sugar, peanut butter, ginger or maple syrup and butter in a microwavable bowl. Heat in microwave for 30s to 1 min until melted.
  3. Combine oats, almonds, pepita seeds, cinnamon and salt in a large bowl. Pour the melted butter mixture overtop and mix.
  4. Pour into a 9x13 baking pan that is either lined with parchment paper or greased with butter.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.
  6. When done, remove from oven and let cool completely, then mix in cranberries and the Quinoa with Hemp Heart Bar pieces.
  7. Add milk or yogurt, and enjoy!.
