Warm Weather Shipping

As temperatures rise, we do our best to ensure your chocolate arrives in the best condition possible.

  • Orders are packed in insulated containers with reusable ice packs to help keep your chocolate cool and reduce the risk of melting. All shipping options are limited to those with short transit times.
  • When possible, we highly recommend shipping to a business address rather than a residential address to keep your package in a temperature-controlled environment as long as possible.
  • To keep your chocolate from being in transit more than a few days, we are only shipping orders Monday through Thursday.

Most orders take 1-2 business days to process and ship out. We’ve listed typical delivery times below. You can also request that your order be shipped on a specific date at a later time.

Shipping within Canada

Any applicable taxes are applied at checkout. Taxes are calculated according to the destination (i.e. the province or territory where you are sending your gifts).

Shipping is calculated per shipment (one order to a single address). For orders with multiple shipments, shipping is calculated for each shipment depending on the destination.

Shipping to the USA

Orders sent to the USA are shipped by Fedex Standard. We cannot ship to PO boxes, or APO/FPO addresses. Shipping is calculated per shipment (one order to a single address). For orders with multiple shipments, shipping is calculated for each shipment depending on the destination.

International Shipping

International orders are shipped by air mail. Shipping rates vary by destination. For costs and information on destinations that we ship to. please contact us at 1.888.478.7397.

Orders shipped outside of Canada are not charged Canadian taxes; however, all orders pass through customs and are subject to import duties, taxes, and custom processing fees. A customs invoice will arrive with your parcel or may follow in the mail. Recipients are responsible for paying these additional fees.

Purdys Chocolatier is unable to provide estimates for customs fees. Check with your local customs office for more information.
