Bijou Cocktail

Picked by our chocolatiers to complement our chocolate-covered Ginger, Petit Chocolat or Gingerbread, this is an antique 1882 cocktail that’s the “ancestor” of the Martini.

Yield - 1 Serving

  • 1 oz gin
  • 1 oz sweet vermouth
  • 1 oz Green Chartreuse
  • 1 lemon
  1. Combine everything together and stir with ice until completely chilled.
  2. Strain into chilled cocktail glass.
  3. Garnish with a cherry.
  4. Cut lemon into slices and express one slice (zest it, then twist it over the cocktail to squeeze out lemon oil).
  5. Use expressed slice as garnish or discard.
